The Foundress

Hi, I’m Sara, the artist behind Saffron Society, and a believer that beauty, like life, is most powerful when it’s intentional.

Saffron Society was born from a season of reinvention. Post pandemic and entering my 40’s, the world felt uncertain and I was no longer satisfied with status quo. I craved a career that nourished both myself and others. I sought quality time with my kids and partner, and meaningful connection - with everyone I encountered. I spent a lot of time soul-searching about what in life has always gotten me excited - art, beauty, and self-expression. This love led me to permanent makeup, where artistry and transformation meet meaningful, restorative connection.

Outside of the Society, I’m a wife, mom of three wild ones, avid (sometimes smut) reader, obsessive gardener, and fiery spirit with a love for laughter and deep conversation.

Origin Story

My foundation began with a university education in Advertising and Media, where I developed a deep understanding of visual balance, color, and storytelling. This early study of aesthetics and communication would later become the quiet throughline of my work — the ability to see nuance, intention, and meaning in every detail. Before founding Saffron Society, I built a long and accomplished career in corporate healthcare, where I refined my precision, professionalism, and empathy. The transition into permanent makeup artistry is a natural evolution: a way to merge technical skill with creative expression, science with artistry, and care with transformation.

Training through PACT Academy, I will apprentice under a respected master artist, gaining a foundation in advanced technique, color theory, and the highest standards of safety. My practice will reflect that lineage — measured, intentional, and deeply client-focused.
